Well, not much has happened with Aretha. I use color based on light and shadow and feeling. So it's a kind of hit or miss thing. I don't know what is going to work until I put it on paper and see it with what is already on the paper. With RBG, I completely redid one large section 3 times because until it was done and I saw it with what I continued to create, I couldn't see that it wouldn't work. So progress can be excruciatingly slow. With Aretha I seem to have come to a standstill. So I decided to put it aside for now and do some pencil drawings which are simpler to do because there are no color decisions.
