A Gift to All who Observe it

This photos is from the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, the leading department store in France for 130 years. I love the stain glass and the complexity and intricacy of the design and colors. I love that it serves no utilitarian purpose: it exists simply to be beautiful and give the gift of its beauty to all that observe it.
